Kubota BX1850
I need help determining what hydraulic quick couplers to buy. I have a 2007 BX1850 and my first project is to add hydraulic angling capabilities to my Kubota manual angle blade (TG2754). I went to order the Kubota brand (part 70060-04310), but found out there was a recent price increase and now they are $35.10 each. Ouch.

I started looking on the internet and this forum, but I can't figure out what series of coupler to order. I know they are 1/4 NPT. The writing on the couplers for the hydraulic lift reads

1/4 NPT 17 PBV06F (can't read the brand)

I tried to cross reference that with the various brand, but I didn't find a match. I even called the local hydraulic shop, and they only sell Pioneer brand and he didn't have a clue what Kubota uses (no cross reference for Kubota parts).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pat, the BX24, BX23 and BX22 use the following Snap-Tite components:

Snap-Tite coupler = 72C4-4F NPT
Snap-Tite nipple = 72N4-4F NPT

Here is the explanation of the code:
72 = the ISO standard
C or N = Coupler or Nipple
4 = ¼ in size
4F = ¼ in Female hose connect
NPT = National Pipe Tapered thread. You must apply thread sealant to male part only during installation.

I assume that the above Snap-Tites would fit your BX1850.

I would say all the BXs use the same parts for this.
BX1500
BX1830
BX2230
BX23

BX1850
BX2350
Bx24

Check them out.

MY BX1500 Has A BX24 60'' Front Blade That I just had put on it new.

Thanks everyone for the advice....

I found what I needed on the Snap Tite order page - I just needed a push in the right direction. I ordered the 72 series coupler, which should fit. After looking at it in the daylight, I noticed the nipple (on the BX1850) had 72N4 written on it. So this comfirmed there sieres I needed. I will post pictures of my project when finished. Once again .... many thanks.
