G'day buy yourself a new pto shaft/ clutch unit with either the two bolt clamp or with the quick release button, with the two bolt job just slide onto the g/box input shaft and tighten bolts the main thing with this type is you need to keep an eye on the bolt tension at regular intervals. With the q/r unit place the coupling alongside the input shaft and mark where the pin would be if coupled up the get the grinder and grind a slot in the spline the same as the back of your tractor except you only need to do one spline and make sure that this is the one that the button slides onto. I have done this hundres of times and have never had a shaft break or cause any other probs. Good luck with it

G'day just another thing if you buy a new shaft you will most likely to have to cut it to length
