Help on pivot door slide (full sized door)

/ Help on pivot door slide (full sized door) #11
Let me tell you....cutting around can-lights is a real pain in the neck. I let her cut it today and this last board (which has cuts on both sides to start wrapping around two separate lights) seems has been cut about 1/4" too deep, letting the hole show (the bezel doesn't look like it's going to cover it)
So I'm on the hunt for larger bezels or we're going to have to replace the board.

I would say, just replace the whole bulb and bezel with a LED fixture. It should just drop right in and that will get rid of the space between the bulb and the bezel.

Let me reword the problem... if the can light is a 6" and you make an 8" hole...you have an issue irrespective of can light, LED light or other...

Since we're not using a hole saw but rather, cutting them by hand, it takes some really good measurements to get them in the ballpark.

What made this board so difficult for us was it had three cuts and they were on both sides of the board. Would have been a downer to cut the first two perfectly....then mess up on the third, rending the entire board useless. (that didn't happen, we got done correctly)

On the pivoting sliding door, think out of the box. Look at some heavy duty drawer slides, top and bottom of the cabinet. Mount the bifold door pivots onto the sliding half. Doors pivot on the bifold brackets and then slide into the cabinet. Hopefully this gets you started on this and you can add pictures showing them installed. Jon
