i know in here somewhere there is a post or series of posts where someone had made a rear ballast to hook up to the 3pt for counterweight for the fel. i can seem to find and was wondering if someone could help point me in the right direction or if they have the link handy. i would really appreciate any help.

I poured Sakrete into an old Shop Vac bucket (any bucket will work) and placed two pieces of 1/2" rebar bent over the edge to make it hang into the tractor bar. About $4 for an 80 lb bag and sometimes cheaper if it's on sale. I have two that I hang on a bar on the front of my B2320 to achieve about 140lbs of weight. It's ugly for sure but effective and cheap.

Search on key word "counterweight". Just type in the word and hit ENTER.

Maybe you weren't signed in? You must be signed in for it to work. Just a thought.

Hey guys, He said Rear Ballast no front.
Take a look at the link. Front or rear. ... Also a chance of finding other links in that thread. :)

It's as handy as it loooks for me because I don't have a FEL on this tractor, do on my other one. You can have numerous hitches on your rear to do many jobs so one on the front wouldn't do much. There is a hitch that attaches to the bucket if you really want one on your front.

The ballast I showed him is just ballast whether on front or rear. I didn't mean it to be a front or rear thing, just cheap weight, put it where you want it front or back. The pictures I had happened to be sitting in the front of my tractor at the time. Glad I didn't have a tiller or plow in front of my tractor.
