Help: post hole digger coupler won稚 engage and stay on PTO shaft!

This type isn’t the black collar sliding forward it’s push the metallic part back and it seats immediately
I can’t iull it off then I push the metal back and it slides right out !

Yea I have the same type coupler on my finish mower. It just doesn't look like the collar seated like the picks in the first post.
