Never seen one that was not reversible. That is generally done so that you can throw the cut grass and weeds in the direction you want.

Swapped hoses and all it does is operate the opposite direction same symptoms. This one is single direction. The blades are only sharp on one side. I think it is a check valve at the motor that was reassembled wrong. This is a standard duty front mount hydraulic bush hog. Any other suggestions?

Now it spins in the wrong direction at full torque and it will spin but has no power in the right direction.

So it rotates correct to cut, but no power?

Sharpen the other side of the blades and put the hoses back to original connection.
