Years ago when I first had my TC35, I had a similar problem. Back then I knew nothing about my new tractor. Don't forget about THIS safety switch, the one that prevents the PTO from starting with the tractor. Misalignment of the switch, or a not completely positioned "OFF" for the PTO lever, can prevent the tractor from starting.
