Great! I'm glad to hear the dealer, and especially his insurance, agreed to do what they could to try to make this right for you. Good luck with it. I hope J.D. financing will join with the dealer and insurance in helping make it right.

It's great that the dealers insurance is going to take care of it. In my opinion that's the way it should be. I'll bet his insurance company is going to require a better secured compound after this. Secured the way it should have been in the first place.

P.S. I would expect the finacing to remain the same note, just replace the serial # of the new tractor...

I just talked to the dealer today and he said JD financing would go along with the trade and honor the 3.9% note for the remainder of the contract. He said he will have to order a new mounting kit and grill guard then he will delivery the tractor to my house.

P.S. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I tried to talk him out of the last new 2210 he had but he would not budge. Anyways, I did get a free 50 hour service and a set of new gator blades (like on my old 2210). The dealer paid the sales tax on the tractor and parts.

Good to hear, sounds like everything worked itself out pretty well and sounds like both John Deere and the dealer squared everything up fairly.

Sorry you had to go through the sickness, heartache and headaches and I do know what it feels like as I had a really nice customized and lifted 1980 Jeep CJ-5 with a 2 week old paint job stolen and back in 1986 and when they found it 3 days later on some powerline trails it was totaled out and stripped.

Congrats on getting this all behind you! Seems to me that your dealer is a 5 star kind of place! I'll bet that the cattle gate gets replaced with something a little stronger, let us know what they replace it with, it will be interesting info as we all have been keeping an eye on the thread. Good luck with the replacement tractor, I'm sure in time all of this will be just a faded memory. Take care!
