Help, what did they do?

What was this to start with, and what can I do to make it work again?
Plow is 14" would like to pull with a L3130 Kubota.

Untill I saw the bottom pic I was gonna say that it had the a-frame sprun and bent back.. but then looking at the front.. there has been either alot of repair.. or custamizin done tot he 3p lift arm area.. a-la cut and weld. Might have had coulters hanging down on the front that were cut off.. or the rails themselves were just cut to shorten up. I'm not real familiar with the design.. but wonder if it could have been some sort of fast or eagle style hitch originally..

Bill, that somehow looks like two old horse-drawn plows that someone converted to a 3PH setup. I think the two pieces pointing backwards may have been used to stabilize the toplink adapter. You may be able to get some plowing done with this, but it will never work as good as a full-featured plow. If I were you, I'd compare it to a working plow and modify as needed just to get it on your tractor and see if you can get an idea of how it will work.

Not sure of what brand that WAS (emphasis on WAS) I'd guess it was the basis of a trailer plow of some sort, OR a mounted plow specific to a certain model of tractor. It's NOT Deere, MF, or Ford I know for 98% sure.

Looks like one beam is sprung. (not parallel with each other) The hitch is entirely fabricated. NONE of it appears original, right down to the drawbar.

Plow design is an art AND a science. Without a very good understanding of the basic geometry of a plow hitch, you've got yourself a real project there.
