HELP!!Where to get ASV PT-100 FECON TEETH!!

U mite want to check with Eagle Claw Tooth i know for a fact they make teeth for the paddled rotor Fecon not sure bout the smooth drum Fecon. Used them in the Past For Bradco Teeth.

Another option is to get quadco adaptors and then teeth are 25 bucks apiece . If rock is breaking your teeth , get the rock tooth with the large single carbide . They never seem to break.

Bill. Do you run quadco teeth ? How do they hold up compared to oem teeth?

Yes , I have run them since 04 . You buy adaptors and then get the teeth you want . When they started , one could get only teeth meant for their hot saws . They work really good and are very aggressive . They can be rotated once and last ok and are cheap to buy . Now you can use saw , twin carbide and single carbide rock teeth . To change there is only 1 small bolt and you can mix them on the drum with no problems . I believe that they are better than the fecon multi tooth adaptors . Quadco has been making hot saws for years and there is no question as to quality.

If you can't afford $100 per tooth, you are not charging enough for your services and/or you have operators that don't care about the equipment. IMO, if you charge anything less than $150/hr for the smallest skid steer machines with a brush cutter, you will lose money in this business. Working in a union controlled state like Illinois, you better charge even more to stay in the black.

I've managed to stay in the black in this business for over 18 years. The best contracting advice that I ever read was, "Don't worry about winning every job you bid but be sure to make money on every bid that you win." Winning a losing bid ensures a loss and losses add up faster than wins.

I've been running Quadco dual edge knife cut for a couple years on my Fecon but I think I may go back to the carbide. At present I am cutting 17 miles of trails for a State park and the rocks and dirt and dead wood are killing me. I had to flip a new set of teeth at 25 hrs! They do a great job and increase my production but I don't know if the trade off is worth it sometimes. I still have about 9 miles left. $950 vs $1800 Hmmm.
