I need to take injectors out. they are stuck going to make slide hammer. tractor is 80 miles away.
Does anyone know what the thread size is on top of the injector?

Maybe I'm not understanding you, but the injectors are threaded in. A slide hammer will damage the injectors threads and the block threads. I don't believe that J.D. press fits the injectors. Take a look at the injectors and you will see flats for a wrench to fit on, left to loosen. Good luck on your repair! If I am way off base then ignore this post.

Why do they need to be removed? Most are threaded into the head; use some penetrating oil prior to removal, and use compressed air to remove any junk that might get in the hole during removal/reinstall.
