Most ATV plows use an electric winch for raising the plow and gravity for lowering. Is this how yours works? You might send us some pics of the plow and the recipient and than maybe your will get more concrete suggestions.
I just did this on my Kioti. I have a swisher brand 60" plow. I had to fab up a way to mount it to the FEL on the tractor. 4 bolts and 1 pin it's on and off in just a few minutes. It can be done you just have to get creative! Mitch
Here are a couple of photos of my '73 Wheelhorse with front plow. These aren't the greatest of pictures but they might give you some ideas.
The plow has it's own subframe that slides under the front wheels and goes all the way back to the rear axles where they are attached with a quick disconnect mechanism. The plow is raised and lowered using the same mechanism that raises the mower deck. This one is kind of cool because it has a lever on one side that allows you to angle the blade left/right or center detente. At it's highest point the bottom of the plow is about 10" off the ground. Chains are a must on a machine of this size.
