Help with buying a horse

Hey Soundguy, I noticed other places where I would see horses in a corral without any graze, I just wondered if you fed and watered them in there or how long they were left like that.BTW I don`t know anything about livestock.

Soundguy. That's great what you and your wife did for the mule. He looks good. :) The grandaughts are getting a big kick out of seeing all of you guys and girls post pictures of your animals. BTW Cotton, I have never seen a buggy like that with dual axles in the rear. Is it 4wd or 6wd? A very nice ride for sure.:D

It is a Polaris Ranger 6x6 UTV.
If you need to get around on steep slope or muddy swamp this rig will do the job with ease.

I usually don't leave horses in a turn out pen, or riding areena with no grass for any longer than what I have to do with them.. etc. If they are out for the night, they are on pasture.. If I need them up.. I usually stall them vs putting them in a corral.. etc. Anywhere I do turn them into DOES have water...

Here's pics of our two guys (pets). Cocoa and Thunder. Inherited from my BIL. They're both a bit "chunky". We don't stay at the farm enough to do much training, so they will be mostly wild until we can get permanently relocated. They were both formerly trail-broke, but sorta green. They're both about 4 yrs old, so maybe in another couple of years when we get up there full-time, they'll be gentled down some.

Hi Folks,
I'm back from an 8 day camping trip with my horse. What a great ride it was!! Sure is good to be home, but I can honestly say I wouldn't mind washing everything up including the trailer and go again. Time is short now with September right around the corner and fall is on our heals now. Wow where did the summer go? It sure does go quicker when you are older. After the blizzards we had in April I'm just not crazy about winter coming.
Yep I need to go on another trail ride and forget about it!!
Enjoyed the new pictures we have here. I'ld love to see a picture of the mule!

Hope the weeks was good to everyone!
