Help with carburetor.

Sounds like the crankshaft seal failed, Never had a Briggs do that but have had Briggs and a Honda vertical shaft engine that the main gasket between the bottom plate and main engine cracked and began leaking.

Hopefully a new lip seal will take care of it.
