HELP with cylinder

I bought a used cylinder on a dump body? I am installing and in the process of plumbing...anyways Is this cylinder power up gravity down, or is it power up power down? Is it possible it can be set up either way? the line pictured on the top side of the cylinder is 1 1/4"

Since it only has one line feeding it, it is only powered in one direction. Hard to tell if that can be switched around, but I'd guess no since I'm sure this was a purpose built cylinder. Is it two-stage?

yes two stage, I am having trouble finding an electronic valve to control it from inside the cab. I am running a 12gpm 3500psi pump that is belt driven and activated electronically via clutch simillar to an a/c compressor. I need a valve that re routes the presure back to the tank from both the pump and the cylinder when switched off to my understanding...

Power up gravity down makes it a one way or single action.
All U need is a 'T' in the pressure line and a one way valve, electric or manual, back to the tank.
The T would be flow thru and the side would have that valve back to tank with weight doing all the work.

Naturally U also shut down the flow at the same time, but even if you did not the cylinder would collapse by gravity and oil simply circulate round and round.

I once operated a plow like that with simple hand pump and basic valve back to the reservoir.
