I HAD a NEW tach but I belive it was in the trunk of my tempo when I tried to teach my little teen age girl to drive... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif both are a hole lot smaller now. as fire tends to do that to things that contain plastic and wire surrounded by metal /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif http://www.bright.net/~ispike/carfire

anyhow things happen. I'll look AGAIN but I'm almost 100% sure it is gone gone gone. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Yes I figured as much, The schematic did not show a oil pressure grounding but that doesnt mean much. I have not heard back from the guy. I asked him to see if it has one or 2 senders at the oil fitting, and how many wires the sender has. the tractor is a 2003-2003 build.

There's only one sender, two wires: #26 to the hour meter and #27 to the oil pressure gauge. You never answered whether or not the hour meter was a round gauge all by itself. But since you've only just now identified it as a 2003, it's likely integrated into the cluster gauge configuration. In that case, wire #26 is probably tucked up and not used. The hour meter configuration would then be as described by BlueChip.

Its the tach, hour meter combo. ll other guages are seperate.

OK. Sorry to have wasted your time. Wire #26 will likely be tucked up into the loom - unused. The hour meter apparently shares a common ground with the cluster.
