Help with yellow diesel cans, please.

Okay after all the joking probably nobody remembers what this post started as right? I have found the yellow diesel fuel cans, actually plastic, at both Autozone and Wal-mart. Autozone, in southern N.H. may have been seasonal because when I went back they were all gone. Several months later I found one in the N.Windham, ME Wally store and it seems like they have had them ever since. I don't remember the price but it was under $10 I believe. I was by there last night and several were on the shelf.

Me too. Pep Boys and all the other auto stores here have red cans, most have blue kerosene cans but none have the yellow. So I use the blue cans to store #2 diesel oil.

To pump fuel I use the battery operated siphon pump from Home Depot. It costs $11 and runs on 2 D cells. It empties a 5 gallon can in a minute or two.

Filled my truck up last night and noticed a sign on the diesel pump which read "yellow or green cans only, attendant has the right not to turn pumps on or stop pump"

I asked cashier about that and she said it was Michigan law. And I thought the different colors were just an organization thing.
