Looks like the lever is missing. Will take a pic of mine after the hockey game tonight is finished. You may need to get a lever install but not sure of how your hydraulics are setup.

So here are pics of the lever I use when going from backhoe to 3 pt hitch.
It's yellow and in N right now as I have the my box blade on now so using the 3 pt hitch. You may be missing the lever or there may not be a valve there, just guessing.
Someone else will have to help figure this out for you, sorry.

Make yourself a short loop hose to couple the BH ports together. Then you will be OK with the hyd. Attach it to the tractor so it will be available when needed.

You don't have rear remotes installed on the tractor, single and dual remotes are optional equipment. Remotes are two quick connect valves at the back of the tractor, one is feed and the other is return. They are used to run implements that require hydraulics. In order to use the remote(s) there will be a lever or two beside the seat, as in the picture from Mousefield, labelled A - N - B and C - N - D if you have dual remotes.

I had forgotten until a previous poster mentioned it, that BH's can be installed by somehow tying into the hydraulics without remotes. You are not missing the lever, it was just installed differently. In your set up, you will have a diverter valve that allows the hydraulic fluid to flow in a loop when the bh is not installed. Something on or around one of the two ports that the bh connects to turns to open the flow. I don't have this set up so I can't describe it, but look for something that connects the two ports together, it should be right in that area.

The easiest way to do it is to simply have a short hose built that will simply plug into the ports when the bh is not installed. The fluid will simply flow between them, just as it does when the bh is installed.

I used to have that setup on my CK30hst. It's not a true remote with the levers to the right of the seat. That kit connects to the same place on the side of the tractor case as the normal remotes do and has a small shaft that I used a 6in crescent wrench to turn it. It in itself is just a valve. I can't remember which way, clockwise or counterclockwise, but you need to turn it the "full amount" until it stops. One way (full) is to power the hyd quick disconnects and the other way (full) is for when nothing is attached. If you noticed when the bh was connected, you had no power to your 3pt lift. So if you would use a hose connecting the two QDs, you wouldn't be deadheading the system but you would have no 3pt. That's why I finally went to a regular remote with the lever. The kit like you have and I also had were a little less than half the cost of a levered remote. I had went with what the dealer told me to use to power the bh until I learned more about the tractor and with help of TBN members. I hope this helps.

Yes, the remote kit is well worth it if you have a backhoe. I want a second set of remotes now.

Back in the day this is how Kioti supplied the hydraulic kit to run a backhoe. We use to weld a little piece of round stock on them and paint the valve orange. that way when a customer forgot how to do it we could refer to the orange valve. You can not just run a hydraulic loop line between the rear remotes on this style system. If you do that your 3 point hitch won't work. You need to turn the valve till it stops. whether you turning it off or on. Turn it till it stops.

i appreciate all of the advice you guys have given me. ive learned more in 2days on this web site, than a week on the phone with sales reps that dont know which way to turn a lug nut off, much less give advice on how hydraulics work! kinda nice chatting with guys who know how to make stuff happen.
