Has anyone tried one of these little tools.

I saw one demo'ed at today's farm show...
Looks very cool and has some great advantages over plasma cutting.

I have a Henrob which I bought at one of the Carlisle Car confabs. One thing I can tell you is that the guys that demonstrate those things are superb craftsmen. It takes a lot of practice, which I haven't done, to get to their level.
For cutting, I think they are great. For welding, they work well on steel or aluminum, provided you use the right rod and flux. Gas welding takes a touch, but has some advantages, prime among them being portability. The Henrob comes with several tips, and a good instructional video.

Well I went ahead and purchsed one from the Farm Show vendor and I haven't used it yet, but I've looked at the video that comes with it and it looks like a realy cool tool. The thin kerf of the cut is really something. No slag, no mess.
I'll post a few pics of some of my first cuts/welds as I go forward here....
