OK so I have a question for all 3 of you. Can any of you see to the bottom of the hopper while you are in the tractor seat? I've used mine twice, I admit to liking it, it seems to throw farther to the right than to the left, but that may just be my perception as I did not measure it (Murph mentioned this also). But it does have one major flaw. . . I can't see the bottom so I can't tell when I am going to run out!
My plan is to do a few modifications to the spreader.
#1, I want to mount a mirror of some sort to the back rim of the spreader so when I turn around I can see into the bottom of the the spreader.
#2, I want to make a stand that is welded to the lower assembly so that it will rest on the ground upright instead of having to either lay it down or turn it upside down and stand it on its rim.
#3, it needs some sort of a grab handle near the top to make mounting easier and to make it easier to move around. Although if the integrated stand from modification #2 works it might eliminate most of the need for the grab handle?
