At times in the summer you can mow at dusk or even dark. Trouble is, most tractor lights create too much glare or shadows. So I mounted lights to the weight bracket of my B7800 this way.
I went to a True Value hardware store and bought some "L" shaped support brackets for $5.79 each. The pre-punched holes actually line up with the holes on the side of the Kubota frame.
Then I drilled (opened up larger) the side holes in the bracket to 3/8" and the top hole to 1/2" for the light bolt. I used 3/8" bolts in the side but I could have used 5/16" for more placement choices if I wanted.
The brackets had to be cut to fit--shortened-- and I hope you can see.
The lights came from my NH dealer and are from J.W. Speaker Corp in Germantown, WI. They have an on-off button on the top so I direct wired them--- with a fuse--and can push the button on or off for the few times I use them. Maybe I'll wire better in the fall.
The barn is not really this clean so relax.

They look great and the installation is neat, but aren't they set in an area for being damaged easily?? I think I would think about installing a bumper of some type connected to the same weight bracket to protect the whole front end. :)

Normally, I have bumpers on everything but I now live in the midwest on flat ground and there is little to hit. And, in 60 years of life I have never hit anything so I figured to tempt fate. I did space them in so they fit the tractor profile.
Here's how I did it on an L4300 with a guard and lights but I can see better with the b7800.
