Congrats on nice setup.

Great looking setup!!!
I saw your original thread when you were deciding on which tractor to buy. Looks like you made a good choice.
I'm sure the dealer will take care of an issues you find. It still amazes me that "brand new stuff", doesn't matter if it's a car, tractor, boat or whatever that we spend some big dollars on, gets delivered with problems!!! You'd think these dealers would ensure that all the basic operational stuff has been checked out.

Are the brakes locked together currently, and also, is the parking brake on? Sorry for asking obvious questions, but that's what I'd check first.

The brake pedals are linked together. I have not separated them, so both brakes are being applied when I push the pedals. It seems like when I apply the brakes, they grab and then when I let off and start to move, the right one makes a popping sound and you can feel it release. It just seems like the right rear brake is sticking. Parking brake is off.

Salesman called this morning to follow up and see how everything went with the delivery. I filled his ear with the fact that the delivery man came with no keys to the tractor and had to give me one off of his key ring. They had promised to fill the tractor with fuel before delivery and that didn't happen. No manuals delivered and I mentioned the brake problem. He apologized and said they were extremely busy with the Christmas holidays trying to get deliveries out and this was all an oversight. I go back in Monday to sign the paperwork to add Mahindra insurance and he has my manuals and keys. He said they would make filling the tractor with fuel right and he wrote down the problem with the brakes. I feel confident they are going to take care of me. Seem like really good people and they want a good reputation for their dealership.

They were extremely busy this time of year?? That's odd. I recently bought a small L Kubota to do some loader work around the farm and keep around the house and the Kubota dealer went above and beyond to sell me a tractor. Said he had some on his lot he needed gone by the end of the month and what would it take for me to buy one. He said they were extremely slow this time of year (they aren't a big ag dealership like my local Deere dealers are that are big into farming). I got a full tank of fuel, two sets of keys, manuals for tractor and loader, and a yeti cooler!

Much depends on ancillary items the dealership is selling along with how backed up their service dept. is. The Mahindra dealer we have here is absolutely slammed this time of year with sales of weed whackers, chain saws, lawn mowers, generators, hand tools and tractor equipment sales. Even so, this is not really an excuse to use on customers and a poor business practice for a salesman. It would have been much more prudent for the dealer to say "I know we promised to have the tractor for you today but could you give us a couple more days so we can go over it more thoroughly" or something to that effect.
That to me would be a more diplomatic and honest way of handing the situation rather to imply "we were so busy we tried to let things slip because it's easier to say I'm sorry if we have to"?
