Jinman,
Yep, bought a trailer too - it's a 10,000 gvw deck over 18ft w/ brakes on both axels and break away. Paid $3,780.00 for trailer. Trailer's are expensive (as with everything else up here). Took the backhoe off this weekend - two pins and it's a snap.

That's something that I really like about the NH backhoes - they are a snap to remove and install. How smooth is the control during use? Also, how easy is it to dig flat-bottom trenches? I never tested one of the NH backhoes, and I'm real curious about how well they work. I absolutely love the way my Bradco performs, but it is a major PITA to deal with the permanent subframe.

Does that tractor have the Galaxy turfs on it?? If it does I am going to be pissed because that's what I wanted and the dealer told me I couldn't use the Galaxy's with a loader as the walls of the tires wouldn't stand up. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Murph,
These are the standard Titan turf tires.
I was glad to see they replaced the old skinny front turfs with someting a little wider. The dealer said NH had made this change to better support the loader

Peter, a friend of mine has a NH 1720 with back-hoe that does not really have much of a subframe attachement and like yours it's very easy to get on and off. One word of caution however, I've noticed he's bent the bracket on the tractor where the top link (solid link with a loader) attaches, I think due to all the side to side force caused by the loader. Without a solid connection to the tractor, other than the 3-pt, the top link sees a lot of force. Just something to watch out for. Very nice rig. Hope it serves you well.

anyone know if this is still a good price for this rig (minus the mower, with R4's)? I am trying to buy one in the Seattle area. Thanks.
