The picture on the Lions home page is misleading. It shows the field with the roof off. What's neat about the stadium is the south wall. It is made from the old Hudson's (i.e. Marshall Fields) warehouse, and this has suites with windows looking onto the fields.
The new Ford Field is being built next to Comerica Park, the Detroit Tigers baseball field. I'm not much of a sports nut, but it would be nice if the Lions and Tigers could rise to the Red Wings level of play.
