Your did not do your corners right. First, the horizontal member should be much longer. I do not make any shorter than 10 feet. Effectively a short horizontal member makes the corner tippy. Second, there should be a brace tension wire running from the base of the corner post up to the top wire level of the in-line post. That way the hog wire tension pulls on the GROUND side of the corner post and not on the top of the post which yours did.Funny you should mention the corners, we had a little trouble with one of the corner posts. Despite 1,000 pounds of concrete, which did set and held the posts, when I started stretching fence, it came right out of the ground. I decided to brace it instead of reset it, it's SOLID now. I included turnbuckles so I can tighten it later if needed.
