I had to clear out an acre of cat tails in very wet and swampy area. I used a regular riding lawn mower by opening its deflector flap open with high flow blades. Went very slow and got it cleared up in around 8 hours.
I did get it stuck once but got off it and picked it up out of muck and kept on going.
