You said you bought ladder 4 link chains, when they were shipped what was the weight of your package. I ordered mine yesterday and the shipping weight is listed as 86 lbs for two chains to fit 355/8-/20 turf tires, does this sound right, seems a little light to me, but im used to wrestling my sidder chains maybe. I'm not sure if I'm the "Roy" you're referring to...but here goes:

I don't recall the shipping weight, but my 4 link ladders go between 50-60 lbs each (estimated and might be a few lbs heavier). These are for 41x14x20 turfs. These links, like yours should be, are 3/8ths thick...if you bought them from tirechains.com.
Shipping costs were about $33 (UPS standard delivery ground) and I'm only about 120-140 miles from their warehouse.

Why not call the seller and confirm the weights?

Thanks roy, must be right then, my shipping cost was 33 dollars also and i think my tires are a tad smaller then yours. Yes i bought them from tirechains also and they are 3/8ths.
