Hey, I'm not Spencer! I do have a Miller 130 120V mig welder though. It is great for sheet metal and light welding projects. The only problem I have is that I think I have out grown it. Check and see what the max. capability is of the unit you want, if it will handle what you plan on doing but is close to it's max., buy the next size up unit. My welder has four settings, most of my welding is done in the top two settings. The welder has a thermo protection device built in and if I have alot of continuous welding to do, I can go for about 15 minutes and the thermo device kicks out, (it works like an auto-resetting circuit breaker) and welding stops but the fan continues to run. I can resume welding after about 10-15 minutes only to have it happen again. For intermittant or light welding I have never had a problem with it and it works very well. Even doing my heaviest welding with it, it has never failed me. I've had it 8 years and would recommend the same unit to anyone else. Like I said, I think the problem is I have out grown it but I will keep it for lighter work and for the portability of it.
