Hey to All!
Alot has happened since my last post on Thursday night. 1) son wouldn't fall asleep, but I did!
2) Friday the new Toolcat arrived, unexpectedly! And Thank Goodness becase I needed to dig ditches around the barn and remediate some longstanding drainage issues.
3)We had one of our big TB/Percheron horses colic, first Friday, again Saturday; thus we had to take her to a clinic 90 miles away. We drove down today (Sunday) to check on her...and just returned.
The double boom of the C series TC is obvious, as you will see.

Hey, a BIG congratulations on the new arrival.... the first C model to be captured alive. Be real interested in how the new boom design affects various tools, especially forks. Having had a good bit of experience with the B version, you will be able to provide the best side-by-side comparison around.

The horse is fine...I took her down there for my wife (you know the rest of that story!) /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I have only put in 1.5 hrs on the C series, so I haven't had enought comparison time yet. On Saturday, my brother and I trenched some drainage ditches across my barn's neglected stone drive and when my wife decided that we needed to haul our horse to the clinic, we had to quickly back fill these trenches so my truck and trailer could pass over...so all of the work was not wasted, I was able to convince my wife that we could use crushed stone as temporary refill rather than the rocky soil that was just removed, so at least scant drainage could take place. I was moving loader loads of crushed stone out on my mini quarry at a full gallop, and the assisted leveling was nice.
