Tractor
Ford 8n
:cool2: Hey, how's everyone doin? My name is Scott and I'm a mid-western hayseed originally from Northern Ohio. I grew up around tractors my whole life. IMHO, Ohio is Ford country. I have definitely discovered that I have a soft spot in my heart for Fords. (Although Massey is a close second.) For the last 10 years, I've been living in Eastern Massachusetts. I have 6 acres, which is considered a massive amount of property out here by some. I have a standard, red belly, Ford 8n. Her name is Robin. In my opinion, with 6 acres, there is little reason to have more than a 25 HP tractor. While I will yield to the fact that those new, fancy tractors are more agile, and easier to use for the most part, I stand ready to prove that you can do anything you need to do with a red belly ford. A few trite modifications, as well as a host of knowledge pertaining to what makes a tractor a tractor, make it easier. I always get a kick out of doing the same or more with my cheap little 8n as most people with $30,000.00 units can do. Things I know, are as follows. 1.) Just when I think I have it figured, I don't. 2.) My wife calls the shots. 3.) My wife calls the shots. Looking forward to learning as much as I can.
