Tractor
Kubota L3700, FEL quick release bucket, Root Grapple, 5' brush Hog - King Kutter, 6' Blade.
Cruising along with my new L3700 and my first brush hog....spending most moments twisted backwards adjusting the height of the hog and holy smokes looked down to see the tire rolling freely on the front left wheel. It looked like it was going to fall off.

What do I do? I need my Tractor to lift my tractor. It's the first small window between rain and tornados to mow argh. Phone won't attach a picture.

It's probably got a hole in it. You need to clean out the inside of the tire and the bead. Then take your hand and rub inside the tire to feel for any thing sticking through it. If nothing there to be felt you will have to reset the tire on the rim and put air in it. Then you can take water and check for leaks. The leak may be in the valve stem. If the tire has broken bead with the rim you will probably have to use a ratchet tie down to expand the tire so it will seat.

Looks like you need a jack of some kind to lift the front up to remove the wheel and tire. It might save you some time if you just took it to a place that does tire service. Good luck even though your day was messed up.

Or lift the front end of the ground with the loader and put jack stands under it.

Do you have the FEL on the tractor, by any chance? If so, you can use it to lift the front end up. If not, you may be able to drive the tractor sloowly up to a place where you can use a jack to lift the tire so you can remove it. If that doesn't seem possible, you'll have to remove it in the field.

Most likely a puncture; but maybe it was just underinflated.

Jack up the side with the flat tire. Put a wood wedge in on the other side of the axle between the axle and the frame. Drive it home on three wheels.

You've done this before. I can tell.

I hate flat tires, but it comes with having too much fun on four wheels. Just remember, it will happen again!

and use a rag when ''feeling'' the inside of the tire..Things are sharp sometimes..

once fixed, put lots of "goop" in the tires (sealant) to prevent future leaks. I have that messy stuff in all 4 because i have lots of young mesquite trees with nasty thorns that will puncture a tire. haven't had a flat in years...
