hi I changed my trans ivt in 2009 Oct and this week it wouldn't move forward or backward JD tech check the trans filter and with the code TCU 304177 304079 witch is low amperage and low oil pressure. he found it grainy a bit and I had just changed both filters for hydraulics. from the oil change the tractor ran only two hours. (maybe i should of left the old oil in!) The tech said it might be the pump because he had no pressure reading at the transmission.
Now, JD doesn't service an IVT trans but might change the pump. They haven't done it , so I called 3 other JD s and got the same response A new trans cost $25000 plus core -$5000 maybe and labor. they quoted a new pump at about $4000 plus 14 hours labor.
