Update on backhoe install. Went to the local Kubota dealer and they called Bradco. Bradco said I needed their 6" extensions and new brackets. I'm thinking, "Cool, it's gonna work!!"
Tractor sits 2 weeks at dealer before they even look at it and then tell me I need the quick disconnect kit for the hydraulics.
Fine, another week goes by and the dealer calls and asks me to take a look.
Basically if I remount the seat as close as possible to the BH sticks the hoe will fit..........BUT, the front wheels are nearly off the ground with the weight of the hoe so far back. After considering the advice here and not wanting to chance it I said screw it.
Here is the kicker to this nightmare; I picked up a Kubota backhoe brochure. It states clear as day, " backhoes for tractors equipped with ROPS only." I take that to mean NO CAB MODELS WITH BACKHOES!!!!
I'm thinking someone along the line should have known this, Bradco, the Kubota dealer etc... I haven't paid the bill for this fiasco yet but I'm going to fight it if they try to get full pop. I'll offer to pay the techs wages..........we'll see.
In the meantime, I have a BRAND NEW Bradco 3375 backhoe for sale.
