Hello to all TBNs
You all have created via your contributions/generosity a top "hands on"forum not only for information but "entertainment". I've enjoyed your lifestyle
experience stories which with the tractor themes is fascinating and
educational . I've just acquired a few cleared gentle sloped acres of river frontage in southwest Western Australia ( Blackwood river-Bridgetown) and after days "on" the brushcutter and chainsaw realised that a tractor would come in handy to sort out the fallout (versus a garden rake and wheelbarrow!). We in this part of Oz are blessed in comparison to you in North America (Canada)- we get no snow here although we can get flood, cyclones, fire and drought (often simultaneously) , the very rare earthquake and no tsunamis (yet?) . I acquired the land to kayak (- rivers with rapids are
scarce in this "getting drier" land) and intend to build a pavillion style home
= " a deck island" with residence and outdoor areas on same platform as the
land has great views over the river and hills and far away and the night sky
is "diamond studded" brilliant. The land? grow asparagus, garlic and coriander
(permaculture system) -should be fun. Would be interested to hear from
TBNs on rivers with rapids . Maybe do a holiday "swap" some day.
Cheers
