Hi Prop,
Welcome into our little society! First off...We have a requirement...show lotsa pics! We neeed pics. I have not damaged my truck yet, but came pretty close on the edge of the workshop, though. Driving a tractor with a loader and implement on the back is very much like operating a 25 foot boat. When you turn, the pivot point is near the middle, so you have to watch the outer ends of the equipment when turning. Your head does the swivel quite often. I think it is Darwinian theory about the rest of it...
About grease...I occasionally wipe the blobs off and use a little diesel on a rag to get the worst. That's the places where I am most likely to bump into it. The other places, I don't bother. That's a good idea Tractorbeam...I'll try the Crisco. I have been using MEK to get it out of my clothes. It's probably not a bad seal, just a little overgreasing on the loader pivots. I tend to overgrease them, too.
One thing about a new tractor, you may need to check the hyd fittings. If you catch a wiff of hyd fluid while running, there's probably a small weep somewhere. Just turn her off when you are done, and look for a little liquid around the fittings and snug the wet ones down. It's normal.
