High or low sulfur?

I hate lugging and then hefting those 5 gallon diesel containers to fill my B7800

This lets me use 5 gallon cans without lugging and hefting them.

What kind of an old car is that in front of the diesel can?

1950 chevy.
I'm the 3 rd owner.
I got it in 1976.
Has about 39500 actual miles on it.

I bought it because my first car was a 1950 chevy I got back in 1958 when I was 17.

Off road is dyed red. Marine diesel is usually blue.

I don't think there is any blue anymore. It you do some research it seems blue was replaced with red. We sell to the marine industry directly from our refinery and the only thing that goes out is red or clear.

In my Kubota manual it "clearly" states use No. 2 D diesel. I guess this was before there were many flavors of No. 2 D.

No. 2-D S15 A general-purpose, middle distillate fuel for use in diesel engines, especially in applications with relatively high loads and uniform speeds, or in diesel engines not requiring fuels having higher volatility or other properties specified in Grade No. 1-D fuels. 15 ppm
No. 2-D S500 500 ppm
No. 2-D S5000 5000 ppm

Hey all I hope I can help out here I manage the fuel depatment of a supply house that distributes just over 4 million gallons a year. As of Dec und users must have in there tanks 500 ppm LSD in there tanks or a 32500/ day fine will be applied (just had a customer that is building the new school here tested- they passed as we puchas 15 ppm but market it as 500) The only thing that can run high sulfer (heating oil) is a stationary motor (genset) that hasent moved in the last 12 months, and not been built, remanufactured or modified since May 1 2006. This new ruling made my & my drivers job interesting... BTW in another year and a half they will phase out the high sulfer heating oil and there is a whole other set of rules about marine & locomotive that I really dont keep with & aircraft it seem like they dont care how much sulfer is in that as of when this was enacted there was no ruling on aircraft... Lastly as for addative YES !!!! I use Howes.
