But the alternative is unacceptable, at least right now.
My hearing went south some time back. Too much shooting without hearing protection. I tried two sets of expensive aids. Didn't work. After many tries I found some on Amazon that work pretty well, about $200 each. I guess everyone's case is different. IMO the extensive frequency response tests are overblown.
