High Pressure Valve Stems

One additional tidbit of information...On the valves themselves, (inside the stems), the lower rated spring valve has a black seal and the higher rated spring valve has a red colored seal. You do not want to put a black colored spring valve in a metal high pressure valve stem.

Learn something new everyday. never guessed stems were pressure rated. All the trucks I have ever owned have been 3/4 and 1 tons and they all have been the cheap rubber snap in ones. I have been replacing the rubber ones because when plowing I have broken them off. [Makes for a long day] CJ
