Thanks to all for your input. I bought this rig about 10 years ago, I don't know if the dealer would remember it and I don't always believe what he says besides. As he painted everything red I can find no ID numbers on it. I have Googled and found nothing about 2340 but some on 2304. To top it off I have lost the only key I had. MY locksmith could not come up with a blank to make spares. I will just keep trying.

With regard to your lost key, I got a copy made for my Hinomoto N189. The blank is an Ilco FU2. It might be the same for yours.

Did your key look like this? The N series keys will not fit.

My key did look like the one posted by buppy69.

EFC, I am interested in replacing the key or the whole ignition switch if that is what I have to do. I have been meaning to get by your place. It is only 70 miles from me.

That key can be bought at a Massey Ferguson dealer. Ask for one for a MF1010.
