hissing sounds from loader on down float

I have a Kubota L4330 and when I was lowering my loader(kubota 4365?)
today I pushed the joystick forward into the down float click and the loader went down with a hissing sound that I don't think I ever noticed before.

Does this sound normal or like it could be a problem?

I tried it a few other times and it also made the sound each time.

Any thoughts?

In my opinion, normal if you float it down. All of them I have owned have done it.

I'm almost sure my loader manual states to only put it in float when the bucket is on the ground. If not I also get the hissing sound.

I have the same tractor and in Vermont, too, and the loader hisses when lowered. Backhoe, too, only louder.

My 3830 did it yesterday, I think it is normal. I am guessing in the float position the control valve for up/down is basically in a neutral position and let's oil free flow between pressure and return side

Funny this comes up. Last night using my BX loader, I noticed the hissing sound, when load is being dropped, not in float. I do not recall ever hearing the hiss before. I'm wondering if I am having trouble.

So - since this thread addresses the hissing, while lowering in float mode, should it hiss when lowering, when NOT in float mode?

IMO... When the fluid moves quickly, it makes a hissing sound as it circulates through the fittings and hoses. Perfectly normal.

Will/can/does hiss when dropping in any mode.
