We have no snow removal equipment available anywhere close to the Gulf Coast. And our buildings are not designed to handle 15+ inches on the rooftops.

Did not have much at 7 am, snow falling steady now. Do not need much more, I am not a big fan of the white stuff. The temp is just to cold for this far south.

Sub zero for the next three nights here. High of 5 tomorrow afternoon.

Got 800 gallons of propane and three cords of oak stored in the attached garage. Plenty of food so we can hunker down.

I'm at 70% on propane in 3 500's plumbed together, way more than enough to get me through any cold weather. I only fill them in the mid to late summer when the price has bottomed out and I own all 3 so I control whom I fill with entirely though I tend to use the same company all the time, probably because I also hunt with the owner and I need to buy from them as a courtesy. I watch the current propane prices all the time on the net.

It's cold here presently, thermometer says 8 degrees and I need to fill the bird feeders today. Not looking forward to that chore one bit but they need to eat (and poop on my car as well...lol) One thing about birds is their straight through digestive system. Goes in one end and comes out the other, usually just after they fly away from the feeders...lol

Not getting any snow here at all, just COLD and windy. I need to go out to the barn and fire up the tractors and warm them up and make sure the starting batteries are fully charged. I really like the remote start on the wife's Suburban, wish my Focus RS had that, it don't. Starting and warming up a buggy from inside the house is a real positive in this weather.

Just south of us on Tug Hill(NY) they are getting pounded again,measuring in feet.Big snow mobile area.We only have a couple inches on the ground(St.Lawrence River Valley).
