They were still called Kioti before 93 but now they handle everything direct instead of though a distributor. Kioti has been in the states as a brand since 1985. )</font>
I believe that in my first post I stated that Lely distributed the brand starting in 1985. My mistake was not looking at what I typed and saying 1985 also for Daedong USA which I corrected to 1993.
The original Kioti location in Wilson, N.C. was on Lely Street even.
A lot of changes have come about since Daedong started distributing the tractor. Many of the dealers that were hurting Kioti sales have gone to the wayside, and Daedong is continuing to attempt to weed out the rest of the bad dealers and get newer, better dealers to represent this fine product. I think they're making pretty good progress so far, but still have work to do in that area.

I am Pricing a DK45 with the loader and mower. Dealer gave a price of 23,680 for the package. Does this seem like a good price??

Not to me /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. That seems really high . Is this a new S model ? I paid around $24,500 for a 2004 DK45 ,#1590 loader , grill guard, sun shade , dual remotes, R4's loaded and a #2385 backhoe with a extended warranty . oh!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif and two Kioti hats !! That was in Jan of 2004 . I am not sure how much they have gone up since the increase in Steel prices but that seems like a huge jump . I would get three quotes ,find which dealer I like best and see what he could do if he was not already the best price .

YOU GOT HATS??? I've got 4 tractors and NO hats. I did get a dealership pen and a couple teeshirts for a brand of ZTR that I don't own /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
