Thanks for breaking it down for me. I'm going to check out the 'Bota's rear end tomorrow morning and see how it all will play out with the front of the spreader. That first ebay item is a tad costly. The red thing seems to be essential in keeping the bar from rotating.

What I do is lock the MMM in the top position. Then the draw bar can be at what ever height you want. The ends of the bar go through the balls on each side of the hitch. A pin holds the draw bar to the hitch. The draw bar will rotate. It is not a problem with my spray because the connection on the sprayer is a "C" with a pin in the center. I connect the sprayer to the draw bar, add the pin and away I go. If you need a picture let me know.
In Kevin picture above the red bar is the draw bar and the orange part prevents the draw bar from turning. Not sure where you can get that part, you do see them on e-bay.
