Hitch on bucket

Now thats a great picture. Gives all the details. Or maybe its the paint glare.LOL but I can see the metal under that hits the edge to prevent it from sliding.
I have a homemade one myself that about 17 years old, but I have a hole drilled in the bucket itself, and a bolt drops through it and then a pin to hold it. It works well, but has a fair amount of slot side to side.
Its difficult to line up because of the bucket being in the way. But soon I'm sure they will have small video cams that I could mount on the bucket..
Maybe not all that crazy though.
Thanks for the posts.

I thought about using a bolt also. I wasn't sure if it would compromise the strength of the bucket. I'll order the one on Ebay and see what else it needs to make it work. Thanks everyone. tony

A bolt wont effect the bucket, unless you moving liquids. then you just tuck a rag in the hole. I have three 1/2 inch holes to mount various things to it with with no problems.

Here is my bucket hitch. :)

I have the ball mount bolted to the welded on receiver. It has a 2 & 1/4 inch ball for my gooseneck. The BB in the background has a welded channel with two holes for a 2 inch ball and the 2 & 1/4 inch. The BB is forsale  as the new FEL and BH has the BB growing rust. This bucket setup was inspired by seeing boom pole extensions for hanging barn roof trusses. :) The setup is awesome because I can see the ball from the seat. :D
hugs, Brandi

Here is my bucket buddy, just added the extended lift pole today, I've seen a lot of other set ups but I think this is the simplest most versitle way to go, I bolted mine on with sleeves between the upper and lower panels that make up the top of the bucket so they would not crush when tightened.
I bolted mine cause I wasn't sure it would be any good and wanted to be able to remove it, now I use it every day and if I had to do it again I'd just weld it on the top.
check out the pictures

I have many capability's with my boom pole and here are some, with a 2 inch receiver. moving a trailer when it's it front of you is very easy to put exactly where you want it the first time.
