I need two hitch or clevis pins that measure 1 1/2" x 9" for our log splitter cylinder and I'm having a heck of time locating them. I've tried Northern Tool, Grainger, MSC, McMaster Carr, etc,. and nothing. I would certainly appreciate any leads on a source for pins this size.

Thanks!

Most agricultural dealerships have dirt cheap hitch pins in stock, here in Holland. Most probably made in india by the thousands, for a price you cant buy the steel and electricity for the lathe, let alone spend your time making some ;)

I'd make one if I couldn't find any at a farm store or a dealer. I'm thinking $15 max. To buy one from a Cat dealer would likely cost $50 or more. When I needed a couple odd size pins I just made them out of round stock and drilled click pin holes in the end. Works fine.
