HO HO HO - Who gets the Snow??

About 2" this morning but still snowin'. I'm on the upper edge of this storm. Only 25 degrees right now.

If it warms up like they're predicting we're in for a big meltdown fer sure./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Thomas, with the ground not yet frozen, this should help to recharge those shallow wells some when it melts off later this week. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Been real dry here too. Heard a story where 2000 gallons of trucked in water was used to fill a local shallow well only to have it drain away into the earth overnite. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Looks like we are going to get it again Wed. Weather man says we will get "measureable snow" from a storm comming out of the Rockies. Last time he said that we got 13".

I am realy in Schenectady. We also got about 5 or so inches. Just got in from snowblowing the drive.

We have about 4' of snow at our cabin in Tahoe now. You can see by the picture I took back in 1993 the amount we will normally have in January/February. You can get some dimension by looking at the truck in the lower left, the snow is well above its lumber rack and in fact, the wall with windows becomes completely blocked out each year. Its 10' tall from the ground and then the chimney starts. The front deck ends up several feet higher then the front windows if we don't shovel it. Rat...

Now that just to much dang snow to face every season/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif I would guess a dozer..payloader..would be the ideal equipment to have during the winter months.
