Ken,

I'm sorry to hear that you were near that spill. I remember watching video of when the problems occured in North Carolina. That was horrible. I'm very concerned about the water in my area anyway, let alone add to the problem with something like this. I eat pork too, and I'm not against farming, but I think we let ourselves in for trouble when we try to take the normal processes (farming), and "make them better". Too many chemicals, and too much risk.

Bayrat, No doubt at all that the Inheritance Tax is one the culprits. The price of land these days is so high that these heirs don't stand a chance. I feel bad for them, and for us. Every family farm that is sold to a company, or developer is a real loss to this country. We really do need the small farmers to stay in business. I support them as much as possible in my area. Thanks for the post. Kent

You're welcome Kent, always glad to defend the farmers of our nation, they are the best in the world . I wonder how the farmers managed when this country was young and big brother wasn't there to tell you what to do /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif and then stick his paw out for half of what you earn /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif.
