I just replaced my tank this last year. The bottom of my tank was cracked previously. Some crafty people before I got it I guess plastic welded it up. Well that lasted for 10 years of ownership and it started to weep. I messed with it and that made it crack more (it was on the bottom where it touches the metal brackets it sits on) and start pouring. So I just said forget messing with a 40 year old tank. I just bought a new one from Hoye. Tractor owes me nothing. Parts are cheap for this thing so I fixed it right.
