I had forgot about this thread. Thanks for bumping it up. Last week I added a cat climbing tree to the flowerbed. It was left after a rustic themed wedding at work. But it is a little wobbly. Too wobbly for hanging pots from the limbs. So when I get to the woods, I will cut a dead Cedar and bury it deeper. We had one at our house when I was a kid, and it looked good full of hanging pots.
I still haven't cut out the centers of the slabs of Juniper, but I did buy a woodcutting drill bit set last week. I will have to drill holes and cut it with wood chisels. I had some guys here doing some other work, and I ask them to cut out the centers. It dulled the blade on their saws-all so quick they declined to finish the job.
