Not trying to outdo you, but maybe this will make you and your wife feel better, It could be worse...

I am 1 of two sets of twins - yes that's right 4 kids 2 years apart

. 4 kids in diapers at the same time

, 4 kids thru college in 6 years

(dear old Dad spent more for that then he did for his 4,000 sq ft house),

To add "insult to injury" or is that "injury to insult?" My brother and I broke my mother's pelvis while she was pregnant.

Congrats - Except maybe for high school when we were competing for the same girls, I've really enjoyed being a twin - built in best friend.

another side to this story is the saga of my IL'S they had 3 children all girls (i married the 2nd one) so they decided to try one more time for a boy, and they finnaly got one, only problem was he was sandwiched between to girls, THATS RIGHT FOLKS Triplets MARY , MICHALE AND MARIE i prayed every day that it would skip a generation when we had a our three

Frank thats funny. Your making me feel better. But I wonder if I'll ever have a life after this. So many things to think about. Hunting, fishing, diapers, baby bottles......

Congradulations ByronBob. My twin sons will be 24 in Janurary. Wow, it is twice as much work but also twice as much fun. You get to do everything twice

Be prepared for lots of attention when you are out in public with them and the ineviatable question, "Are they twins?" You will come up with some good answers!

Congratulations !! What a jouyous, life changing event.

my good friend as twins and He said the one thing he and his wife found out that was extremely helpful was if one of the little ones wake up during the night it was best to wake the other one also. He said it got them in a routine quickly and he actully got about 4 hours sleep a night instaed of 2 hours.

I have a 4 and a 3 yr. old. Be sure to take ALOT of pictures because they grow up really fast....

My son is 7. I know what you mean about growing up fast. I remember when he fit in my forearm. Now he's up to my chest....

You Can Do it for sure ... Here is a story of enCOURAGEMENT...?

When I met my wife over 13yrs ago , I was 36ish and she had 4 kids from a previous marriage ranging from 5-11 , 3boys & 1girl... Ok so two years later we found out she was with child and she was having some discomfort and being this wasn't her first it warranted a little doctor visit when the SONO shows us TWINS!!!

(which caused the discomfort) I was 38 and a very light sleeper any noise would wake me... Well after about two weeks of middle of the night wake ups for this or that my wife tells me it cured my light sleeping problem

for real , now I can sleep through a train wreck...

But really twins are a double blessing, and as hazmat said "built in best friends" they also keep each other occupied playing which will let you get some things done from time to time when your not playing with them

Our twins are now 11yrs. old and a great help to Ole Dad around the house and more fun to watch them interact and play. Very attached to one another

Since we had our set of twins my wifes younger sister has had two sets of twins back to back , Now thats funny !!!

Just an update....

My wife is at 13 weeks now. The ultrasound today looked good. The heads are distinguishable but the sexes won't be until 20 weeks. Pictures are hard for me to upload here because of the size.

I'm still in denial of what's coming...(LOL)

But my 7 year old is talking an interest in the BX2230. With 3 of them around I may need to get myself a B series or something
